Godwins Law is also known as Godwin's rule of Nazi analogies, and it states: "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one." and it is generally thought that at that point the discussion is over and the person maaking the Nazi analogy has lost.
