Haha oh I went off about Chechnya. I think they were very impressed with the fact that I seemed to know absolutely everything relevant to Chechnya. One of them asked me if I was published. =D
Otherwise, I dunno, they just weren't anything at all like our AMPAC committee... they had major problems with decorum, so I could barely stray off official procedures without losing them completely. And of course, as soon as the end of committee neared they dropped all interest in the topic in favour of moving into voting block immediately (without having even received the resolutions back yet).
