This of course reminds me of the time I was camping in a place with lots of ants. I had been concerned about ants getting in my ears, but, so far, it hadn't happened. Then one night it did. What is especially creepy about this experience is that the critter in question walks around on YOUR EARDRUM. It is kind of a rasp, rasp, rasp sound. One wonders what would happen if the ant (or the bee) should decide to bite your eardrum, or, in your case, STING your eardrum. And just think, you would have a hell of a time removing the stinger from your eardrum. Maybe you were able to avoid that because the bee was in there too tightly to turn around.

I got the ant out the same way you did, essentially. I turned a flashlight on into my ear, figuring that the ant would try to "go to the Light." He did, and I lived happily ever after. Of course I hope he had the same good fortune.
