YES ABOUT THE TRUCE! that's one of the most awesome things ever to happen. Where I lived it's actually common knowledge, but it is globally unknown or rather it isn't talked about. My grandpa used to tell me that story. Did you know there's a French movie about it? I'd have to look up the title, but when the film came out the story was apparently a shock to many people because you know, TEH EVILE GERMANS. My grandpa always used to say that the German soldiers were just boys anyway (he was a doc during WWII) and that you could hardly blame THEM for everything. But, I love, love, love that story about WWI.
