I'm still amused that we bumped into eachother here deep in the blogosphere but already met in real life and such. Crazy coincidence!

As to pets, I think my mum presently has a tarantula (she's a science teacher so things that will enthrall the students is a plus), I had.. many generations of pet rats .. many other random things including a possum and chickens at various times. None of the three you list as would like to have but I definitely agree those would be fun!
