Friendzy!
I thought I'd do something the lovely boxsofrain did a bit ago, and declare a Friendzy (Friending frenzy!). Actually I'm not sure she intended for it to work out quite like this but it did: (1) answer the following questions in a comment; (2) As Boxes says, "Also to make this more fun, feel free to read other peoples comments and reply to them with something nice about them. ... Make friends, add each other, mingle, just please be nice." (3) extra points if you mention the Friendzy in your own LJ and send people over to the party! (=

Holy Roman Empire
I do a lot of Model United Nations stuff because I'm a huge nerd. There's often "Historical Committees" going sometimes as far back as the League of Nations. I've been pushing for a Model Holy Roman Empire (specifically, representatives of all the major electors, trying to negotiate the end of the Hundred Years War).. so far no luck )=
Also good work on the bolding. I tried to post it in a way that the html was visible so cut and pasting it would make it bold but it was too hard to not make the html html itself. d=
Re: Holy Roman Empire
UGH! But I couldn't stand the way it looked other wise :)
Can you recommend any good books about the HRE? I'd like to do some historical reading!
Re: Holy Roman Empire
I just use and myself. In triangle brackets of course. That wasn't working??
