Random Moment of the Awesome
Around 9:30 this evening I'm leaving my Coastal Navigation class, rolled up chart tucked under arm. There's a bit of an arboretum between class and where I usually park. Most people go around it but I like to cut through it, as much because I like it as it's a shorter distance. And in fact, as the path meanders a bit in there it might not be shorter -- the first time I tried I actually got lost in there. The trees and shrubs are high enough you can feel totally immersed in it. But furthermore, on this particular night there was a thick fog. This fog was being pretty well illuminated by the light posts all around, but the colour of the lights was totally sepiatone.
So I'm walking through these meandering paths, completely surrounded by shrubs and trees, all drifting in and out of this thick fog, illuminated by sepiatone lighting. And the temperature of course is just perfect. It was awesome. (:
