Ventura County - I will be visiting in Oxnard, Ventura, Port Hueneme, and taking a sail out to one of the Channel Islands. Anacapa probably although I might be tempted to do Santa Cruz if the schedule works. Pondering a trip up to Santa Barbara, but I have five days and no car, so we shall see where all I can reach. Their transit is broad ranging, but spotty on the timetables it looks like.

The second half of my trip will be down to San Diego, which is outside of Chumash territory and down into Kumeyaay turf. I have another random day after that which I am undecided on. San Juan Capistrano maybe? Or La Brea Tar Pits. I might be able to do both, my flight isn't until evening, so it is really alllmost two days.
