I'm glad you were able to get home! That's a lot of flooded roads!

I'm very lucky where we live in that it has never flooded, not even in the worst hurricanes. We're way inland which means we never had to worry about storm surges (which was the biggest problem in Ft. Myers with the latest hurricane.) And our land is on top of very porous limerock, so the water soaks through to the underground river and flows out to other areas.
