   I've felt all bleah and uncreative all day today. Stupid two entry per day quota ::shakes fist:: I have ideas for megablogistic entries but really don't feel like putting them together. Hopefully I'll recover soon.


   Today I hung out with flyinmonkey and wrong_cow_girl, and three of their friends. I hadn't seen flyinmonkey (Allie) for three years. Like many of my friends down here seem to be, these kids are all doing AA. At least mother (who officially reads this journal now.. frightening) doesn't have to worry about me drinking with any of these people..
   Quotes from this evening which I thought were amusing, but probably are not: "note to self: kill sponsee later," "put the spoon down, relapse king!" -this guy Ken.

   Year Ago Today: GODLITE - hung out with Shasta and then made my first appearance at Diedrichs for the summer, whereupon I probably met Shalane, who'd eventually become one of my best friends.

ken is funny. i heart ken.. but then again the name kenneth is so much more indie rock than ken. (not to mention REM's what's the frequency kenneth, and the fact that barbie's boyfriend is ken. and always will be. kind of sucks)therefore ken is an underachiever. ken never matured past a pop-punk stage.. but then. ken is funny, so clearly he experiments with embarrassing and amusing genres like funk or something. i bet he goes to nude beaches too.
i definitely just spent waaay to long reading music reviews.. my whole brain has been morphed into some sort of critic/ WAHH i want french toast and a pocket-sized ken that i can put on the desk. he can entertain me.

good times. that was fun. we should hang out again. CAMPING MAYBE?!
my mother always enjoys the AA factor as well.
if she is even in doubt i just say .."BUT I MET THEM AT A MEETING!" and she relaxes a bit. and at this point. it isn't a lie. everyone i know is in AA.

It would make sense if it was all my friends from a single group of people, but like all my friends who don't even know eachother all happen to be AA core. Everyone is in this sort of post-apocalyptic AA stage of their lives I guess.
