I hate the way livejournal headlines almost invariably end up being the day AFTER the day the livejournal is about. Fortotallybogus. Anyway, regarding Saturday.

Not about to let my general lack of transportation prevent me from having a life, and in memory of the one week anniversery of the actual theft of my bicycle, I walked from my place to Delta Venus. It only took like.. an hour. Ran into Lisa at Cafe Roma on the way; she invited me to go to a hardcore show in Sacto that she was about to leave for, but I declined. Brilliant Red Lights, Trite, and The List played at Delta Venus, it was way crowded. Hung out with Stan and Fantastic Dan and a bunch of other kids outside most of the time. "Hot Dan" and Morgan also showed up, but I didn't hang out with them much. Fitzgerald Vo, whom everyone's favorite Igor Birman is currently suing, came by and left Stan, Shelby and I some vietnamese food, which we promptly ate.
I believe eventually the Delta Venus management decided that whomever was playing at the time was too hardcore and rowdy and pulled the plug on everyone, so we all stumbled around town; there were like eight of us and most were pretty wasted. Stan and Shelby disappeared together and weren't heard from again. We of course made hella jokes that they were humping their brains out.

Nick thinks I should write an entry while wasted at some point. I'll try to work on that. (=

I fixed a bunch of broken links in my livejournal today.. so like.. check it out. sites where the pictures wouldn display previously work now. And every link is different btw so even if one name is linked several times its all different sites. Sheeya.

well anyways...the picture wasn't quite an emo enough until i drew glasses and tears. heh!

Hehe yea, despite the extensive street team my livejournal has, that whiteboard tagging I did personally. I thought the snail in the upper-right-hand corner turned out kind of cute.

So you were at the party that evening (Friday/[Monday], the 24th?)? I was there too but I was kinda antisocial.. I think I said something about it all on the livejournal entry preceding this one.

upper right hand corner? mmm...don't think i saw that one. there must have been two cuz i drew on the one that was on the bottom of the board :) but anyways, yup i was at the party too. i don't know if i saw you there cuz i dont think i know what you look like (unless you're the guy who crowd surfed at the emp show and was wearing dickies and a black shirt)...but it was quite fun. i was also at the delta of venus show on sat. trite was really good :)

As to the snails, there were actually at least three I drew on the whiteboard I think.. I was kinda bored. You going to the show tomarrow (the 28th)?

you mean at the coffeehouse with the list and all those bands? hrmm...i can't cuz i promised a friend i'd go see him play at the true love coffeehouse. i don't know if he's gonna do it since he just got his wisdom teeth pulled. if not then i'm definitely going to the show on campus. although i think unless is waaay better than the list :) heh!

if i go of course i'll say hi. i'm not quite sure how you look like exactly but no worries. if anything i'll say hi to all the guys who look anything like my vague memory. heh! ugh..it looks like i'm going to sac all by myself tomorrow night. poop.

hrm..dishwashing sucks. my roommate had a job as a dishwasher and you would have thought he'd know how to wash dishes like a pro. unfortunately when it comes to washing dishes at our house, he's the worst in the world :)

but anyways...i hope you don't mind me adding you to my friends :)
