This week's prompt for [livejournal.com profile] ljshootout is complementary colours (by which we mean colours on the opposite sides of the colour wheel, you might call them contrasting colours).

I like the sunset. I have to admit I thought we'd have tons of sunset photos for this prompt and I've only seen two yet :)

True true, sunsets are always a good source of complementary colour photos (:

Awesome pics and yes, cillantro makes everything better. I should have taken a picture of my tomato salad the other night but by the time I got my camera to take a pic, it was 3/4 gone.

Haha sometimes that's the trouble with food. ;)

I love that river shot.

Thanks (: It was pretty epic I took probably a dozen pictures of it. When I see something that beautiful, every thirty seconds I'm like I know I just took a picture, but now it looks slightly different and I can't remember how good the last one was so I'm going to take another..

That's the real secret to great photos: you've got to take more than one, unless you're super lucky.

But conversely I get totally stumped and flustered when I'm deciding what pictures to put up and I have a lot of very similar ones. I sit there trying to analyze the subtle differences to determine which one is best :[
