"I'm sorry the concept of checks and balances is so displeasing to you"
Kris,
I see that you have some opinionated remarks that you have sent out, which interferes with you impartial role as a court member.
"To those involved in Student Court Case # 22.
All Court activities have been delayed yet another
week due to continued contempt of the constitution on
behalf of certain leaders in the executive,
legislative and advisory branches of our government.
If you feel this unfairly affects your case you have
the right to file case against them persuant to
violations of Judicial Code 302, paragraph 2. That is
the extent of justice currently available in ASUCD.

You are the one who has delayed your viewing of the case due to two missed meetings with me and Vicki, not following through on your duties to notified personnel, and not addressing the individual you would like to have a closed session upon. Just like court matters, personnel matters have to follow strict guidelines that are placed in the codes. Closed Session must have proper documents and procedures so it is important to make sure you follow such guidelines. I have tried to meet with you to discuss these and other important matters, and have reminded you to schedule a meeting with me on numerous occasions, however, you still have not in this past week after missing the second meeting with me last Thursday, October 30th. I would greatly appreciate meeting to discuss some concerns so that the court can continue in its work, which is what I have been trying to do for the last two weeks. I believe that I had SGAO again contact you with times to meet since you did not schedule a meeting with them as you has told me you would about four or five times. Please reply to the SGAO email with meeting times as soon as possible so that we can meet at the earliest chance we have.
Sincerely,
Sara Henry
Miss Henry,
It is my duty to inform persons of their rights regarding our cases. If you disagree you are welcome to recommend a closed session regarding my chairmanship. I responded to the SGAO email a day ago. As regards the Senate President Pro Tempores duty to observe the stipulations of Standing Rule Eight, I of all people cannot ignore the written
Codes. That it is violated as common practice is a ridiculous argument for continuing to do so, and it is in fact my duty in the government to address such things. If you would like to continue to process the rule as is your custom you must amend the Standing Rules, but until then expecting me to follow your custom in contradiction to the Codes is absolutely
unacceptable.
Similarly overriding the Codes because you wanted to meet with me is grossly in violation of the Constitution. It doesn't matter who I wanted to have a meeting with _I_ certainly couldn't disobey the Codes for my convenience, and neither can you. If you want to take out your displeasure over the missed meetings on me, I again point you to the LEGAL recourse you have, a closed session regarding me. We follow rules in ASUCD comrade Sara, not the whim of the executive branch.
I'm sorry the concept of checks and balances is so displeasing to you. It however is an important aspect of our government that the Codes were built to protect against you controlling the Court. Please stop trying to control the Court.
Have a pleasant weekend.

My meeting with her is today. Sounds like its gonna be fun. I have consulted the infamous Igor Birman, the man who successfully sued the Aggie and now goes to law school; he recommended to me, advised me of the proper procedures, and provided me with the formal wording, to find Vicki Swett and Sara Henry in contempt of the Court. An additional recommendation he made which I had not thought of, is that we COULD theoretically sentence them to service hours if they are in fact found in contempt (as they themselves have maintained their right to subject senate candidates to service hours for erronious documentation.).
