The Faulty Computer Systems I Missed

Computer has been operational now for about 50 hours, and already is clearly extremely faulty in a number of ways. This is gonna be fun. But at least I have a working computer. It seriously feels like this year has only now begun.. my room for the first time since last june feels like I actually live here.. I've got my old music playing again...

Now that I have real internet access again I can make some livejournal entries I've been meaning to make... like the last-summer-in-a-nutshell entry that is now three months overdue.

I'm still adjusting to windows xp, but I'm told its vastly better than M.E. so I'm optimistic. The new kazaa though appears to be solidly terrible though; it subjects me to excessive advertising, I think it downloaded hella popups onto my computer, and it gets fewer results than the previous version!! It can barely find any Bright Eyes at all, and none of a lot of other bands.. what gives? Someone please recommend to me a better music harvester or some way to whip kazaa into shape!!

While it won't entirely solve your problem, there is Kazaa Lite. I think it's just http://www.kazaalite.com . It's essentially as Kazaa but with no popups or hidden installed crap or anything.

the abovementioned is correct, Kazaa Lite is great.

Other than that, bittorrent is good if you know what you're doing and how to use it... Which shouldn't take very long to figure out. At http://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/ Because I'm not fancy with HTML

she said "hi" back.
we went to see Elf, but missed the 8:30, 9:50, and 11 o clock showings....
but we did get to see live music in deidrichs, and they played "wish You Were Here" and sheryl crow and neil young and a bunch of other good stuff i like. but i just really like pink floyd latly, so it made me happy to hear it but it is sad to listen to.
the spectrum and orange county are overrated. all these boys are all dressed up with eye makeup and smeared expressions, hands deep in their pockets. Its disgusting.

but well yeah..
how was the date?

Well I don't have any stories about the Great Leaving itself, but there is an epic saga that starts at the Spectrum Diedrichs and revisits it a few times.

Episode I: Night of the Fountain
