   Turns out one "Bill the Redhead" is also working on a birthday party that weekend, and he lives at um that-one-house-in-south-davis that had that-one-party and.. yea. maybe later I'll link to my lj entry about that party.... but prolly not. So yea.. he's got an excellent partying house so we joined forces.. he already has two bands booked for sure (The List and The Men in Black Pajamas) and is working on two others (Unless, Pisomaja). This is going to be very excellent.

   This morning (Thursday btw) I got a messege from Jessie Lawson, who was for a time one of my best friends and I haven't talked to much at all for a really long time. She said that she is going to be transferring to Davis. I am sososo stoked about that.

   *I almost forgot: on the topic of voting, particularly considering all the club elections going on right now (and the fact that I am currently nominated for EVERY Model United Nations (MUN) position): my junior year of HS I ran for the completely bogus position of Vice Undersecretary Comptroller General (VUSCD). The "real" positions contended you see were "Secretary-General," two Under-Secretary Generals, and a "Comptroller General." The "real" contenders were all to write a one page "intent to run" statement and place it on the back wall. I similarly and casually wrote an intent-to-run paper for my position and placed it with the rest. Among other things I think I stated that I was "the most qualified person EVER to run for the position" and certainly the most qualified candidate. Alas, when it came time to vote, the teacher was QUITE clear that we were only to vote fot the four positions she mentioned, of which mine was not one of them. Psha on that.
