   So I seriously was too heartbroken over the loss of my main winamp playlist to do anything useful for the past 14 hours or so. I just played mass half-life. And people would instant messege me like "kris.. you there? kris... I know you're there.. you're ignoring me like a bitch" meanwhile my away messege TOTALLY says I'm "playing half-life." Yes, when it says I'm "hiding under a rock" or "pretending to be a desk-lamp" it is true I frequently am actually here. When it says I am playing half-life I am probably well.. playing half-life.


   Yesterday at work there were about a dozen huge samoans in the wavepool. They all had rental tubes but not a single one had a wristband for the rental tubes. I pointed this out to deepguard Barret and he was like "yea I noticed.. buuuut I'M not gonna take their tubes." We speculated that one of them (Who wasn't even currently present) had a wrist band and used it to get rental tubes, over and over again until they all had them. This immediately incited me to crack down on this flagrant tube fraud.
   So I proceeded to take their tubes.. much to their somoan angst. This one guy who was like 300 lbs and had a shaved head started giving me major attitude "are you taking these tubes from everyone else??" (to which I wanted to say "look if I'm taking tubes from peopel that way three times as much as me and have shaved heads, you can bet I'm gonna take em from everyone else") "what about THOSE people??" "they have a wristband sir" "what about THOSE people" "they're too far from me sir, they're across the pool" etc etc. And he acted liek he was gonna beat the crap out of me. Good times. x lifeguard x bravery x


   Tuesday the 2nd is going to be my first day off in 14 15 days. I am excited.
