Corresponding With Vicki

   So another ASUCD Court case was filed today. Vicki Swett notified me of this, and wasn't THAT saucy in her email, not so much as last time, but then again she was KINDA saucy.. well thats just it I'm not sure how saucy to be in return, so I need feedback. Here's what she sent me:

This is to notify the Student Court that a complaint has been filed on wednesday, December 10. A copy of said complaint is in the Student Court complaint mailbox. As a reminder it is your responsibility to provide copies to the court members of the complaint and any documents attached to this case. Inform the court members that they can obtain a copy of their copy of this case and all documents in the Student Court mailbox. If the members come to SGAO for a copy of above mentioned materials they will be told to check the court's mailbox. If you haven't made arrangements for the materials to be available to the court members they will be informed to notify you.

   Now see, she didn't really say anything in a saucy WAY this time, but the content of what she said was saucy: maintaining that the administrative office will do no work for the Court. Here's what I'm thinking for a response:

CC: ASUCD President, Senate President Pro Tempore
   The eight of us on the Court would like to thank you for your concern and professionalism in aiding the Court to function properly and participate fully in a more perfect government. I will stop by the third floor tomorrow and obtain the available documents. Would you prefer that I ask the SGAO personnel to make seven copies of the material for me at that time or that I have Campus Copies do it and obtain a reimbursement from you?
   As the impartial and confidential ASUCD Advisor could you inform me as to how I may obtain a copy of the Administrative Plan or other job description / mission statement of the Student Government Administrative Office & office of the ASUCD Advisor?
   As always it is a pleasure to work with you and your cooperative staff. I look forward to many more years of applying justice with you.

   So what do you think? Too obviously sarcastic? Please provide me with specific suggestions of things to add or remove, but don't feel discouraged to give general thoughts. I intend to reply to her tonight so... feedback, ASAP!

   Keep in mind this is someone who has no actual power other than her close proximity to people that do. She can talk smack on me to whomever (though she's supposed to be "impartial??"), but whatever the President or Senate tells her to do she must do.. and if we were to issue a formal Court Order she'd have to deal as well. She has NO real power and already is deeply beyond the bounds of her job, being far from impartial or confidential, and telling people things as orders which are contrary to the bylaws.
