10 of 30 - Landmines

I suppose it makes sense, but it seems altogether too cheerful for its intended purpose. Finding this image while trolling about the internet today I immediately pictured someone watering their minefield from a green watering can while wearing a straw hat and humming, as butterflies fluttered past.
Early in the year in econ in twelth grade we had a project where we had to work with partners and make up an imaginary island that produces something and explain to the class what they produce and how. I loathe partner work. Anyway I was randomly paired up with cheerleader Stacy Ulrich.
Much to her dismay I quickly took charge of the project, resulting in an economy based on the commercial production of landmines. These were produced using forced labour from the indiginous peoples who dwelt in huts.
As some kind of follow up to that I think I proposed marketting land-mine display cases so the avid collector of our fine hand-crafted landmines could display them.
