Rockets and Pools

If someone can help me figure out how to host video, or would be willing to host these particular awesome videos, or could at least help me figure out how to isolate a few choice frames, you all could be exposed to the excellent video from today which includes:

• Rockets being fired horizontally, while someone holds the launcher!


• Rockets going AWOL and nearly killing people!


• The tail of a rocket being fired by itself after the top was destroyed!


• and more!!

Seriously people this stuff is pure awesome, the world needs to see this video footage.
   So yeah. Eric and his friends (Monte & Tom) were firing rockets over at the nearby elementry school (De Portola) fields today. As usual someone called the cops, the officer arrived and was like "yeah not only is this not illegal, this is actually pretty awesome,"
and told them they really didn't need the parachute on the rocket, which they were contemplating discarding at the time.
   Now see, once upon a time like, I dunno, seven years ago, older brother Tobin and his friends were firing the potatoe cannon in the same fields, and someone similarly called the cops, saying kids were firing beebee guns at signs. Officer Munez (whose name I can still recall farely accurately!) arrived clearly thought the spud gun was awesome, and went on his way (to be encountered once or twice in further adventures of no fault of our protagonists).


Saturday
   So Saturday night I was kickin it at Diedrichs with the usual kids.. Cool Kyle was there but I think he was despondant without his woman Colleen, and I got to experience the infamous backseat of Cheri's molestang - when I went with her and Tristan to get his get-fiddle (guitar).
   And Danika's sister shows up, and she introduces me to her, but her sister is like "Nigel? Are you really named Nigel??" you see because she was confused because she once totally knew me by a different name, for she was Ashley Pogue, whom I TOTALLY knew in HS.


   Then a bunch of us went to The Hot Tub, which is a hot tub in a community centre of a community none of us live at. It was excellent.

   That security guard, man he's one of hte weird ones. And crazy anal retentive. Right at 11 he'll often tell the Diedrichs employees that we're "causing a ruckus" and need to be dispersed. And by causing a ruckus, he means sitting there drinking coffee and talking.
