Blizzards
So I return from class at noon today to find my apartment a frosty FIFTY-FOUR degrees.

We get the pilot light fixed and in half an hour it raises 16 degrees to feel toasty at 70.

Later it turns out that even the new pilot light won't stay lit. Professionals are supposed to come by tomorrow (more than just the complex maintanance man who fixed it today).

Floods
Then the people from downstairs came up to tell us not to use our faucet because whenever we do, it floods their kitchen.

Jason later investigated and declared it was a faulty seal on the hot-water pipe or something?

And Parking Nazis
I accidently left my phone on silent all day and had a million messeges by the time I realized it. Among others, I had a messege from the apartment offices telling me I needed to stop parking my motorcycle behind the car in spot 102. Another was from my mother, informing me "your complex called us, apparently we need to move our motorcycle?" The motorcycle is roommate Chen's. The car in 102 is mine.
If one were to draw a line from the two endpoints of the lines deliniating parking spot 102, my car and the motorcycle would be wholly contained within it - ie neither vehicle extends beyond what would be considered parking spot 102.
I have a feeling this may be the work of the owners of the car to the right of my spot (spot 103?), who complained I needed to repark my car because tehy couldn't open their car door, despite the fact that my car was entirely within the white lines.
The parking spots here in the trees are perhaps narrower than average, and the cul de sac of the complex I live in is hard to navigate, but I think these people need to get over it.

Definitions - Incidently I've defined several words in the daviswiki glossary, specifically: dormcest, hella, & hecka (the latter has since been edited by someone else as well - last sentence wasn't mine).

I swear I nearly froze to death last night, with temperatures dipping near fifty again while I'm up trying to write a paper. Finally help came just in time... in time to turn the water off while I was in the shower.

Thats right. I finally decide at least to take a warm shower, and I'm basking in the hot water when all of a sudden BAM no more water. I emerge to find the repairman fixing the pipe in the kitchen that had flooded the girls downstairs.

Shortly thereafter the maintanance man returns with the professional heater guy. They tinker with the heater, clean a bunch of filters and depart. Two hours later the pilot's (which was just put in yesterday btw) out again. Tomorrow morning the heater man will try to replace another part and see if it works then.

Maintanance man also brought a light-bulb because one of our lights is burnt out. Incidently later I was lookng for this light bulb and I couldn't find it anywhere. Finally we asked Jason and he was like "oh, the lightbulb that was on the table here? it was burnt out so I threw it away" "but the maintanance man just brought it" "well he brought a burnt out bulb" "did you... test the bulb?" "no, but it looked clearly burnt out" so I rummage through the trash until I find it. We plug it in and it works fine.

Talked to the office about the motorcycle (With Chen) when I went in to pay rent. Office concurs that it shouldn't be a problem "but people are complaining." Office can't tell us WHO is complaining, but she mentioned three girls that sound like they fit the description of the girls below us, who didn't pay their share of the internet we shared with them for half the year last year. Also confirmed it was one of the cars one either side of me. I'm still inclined to think its the car to my car's right because they complained about the door thing, as mentioned, but roommates observe the car to the left is always parked terribly.
