Random News Analysis
Sep. 6th, 2009 10:28 am A recent news headline piped in from yahoo reads is followes: Teen says brother innocent in Ga. mobile home case
First of all, I don't understand why they run as headlines things people are obviously going to say anyway. Of course the family member is going to say his brother didn't do it. Kind of like another recent headline I remember is "Biden Say Health Care Plan is a Good Idea" or something. Well of course he does. How is that news?
But furthermore, if you read the abovelinked article, you'll find that the family members of this accused killer really don't sound so convinced he didn't.
"He loved his dad. I know in that 911 call that we heard on the news, he was devastated to find his dad dead like that," the grandfather said. "I just can't believe it, unless they really had some proof." (ie there's no way he did it, unless there's some proof he did and then yeah sure he probably did?)
"He didn't seem like anybody who would do something like this," West said Saturday. "But you never know."
So yeah, people don't sound very convinced.
