   Well I meant to recount the Middle East adventures here but I never really got around to it. However I did keep up pretty well with live updates over at the other blog:

Next Up!
   Tomorrow (Friday, the 27th) I arrive in Portland Oregon via Seattle. I even already have a party in town lined up for that evening (:
   Monday I set sail on the tallship Lady Washington, which will be my home for at least the next two weeks (until Dec 20th or so, at which point we'll be back in the LW's home port of Aberdeen, WA, and she'll go into drydock for repairs).
