aggienaut Having just finished this entry, comrade Angela gave me a link to sometihng else via AOL IM. Knowing that this would automatically open into the most recent browser I had open, I clicked on one other than the one I was updating this in, clicked on the link, and then proceeded to finishing my update. The link however opened onto the browser I was updating via, causing me to loose my whole entry. I was subsequently plunged into a bad mood because I just can't stand losing things I've just typed. )=
Don got fired from IHOP. I am quite sure he was the best cook there, and there is no doubt that as the only employee completely bilingual in both English and Spanish, he was the most valuable. As to reasons for the fireation, Don alleges racism, saying Paul the boss "fired all 3 of the white cooks on the [night] staff, 3 white hostesses, a white server, and a few others who i am not sure of." Additionally in a thorough indictment of Davis' newest food establishment, he alleged more than 17 reasons why people should fear their food and health inspectors should condemn it.
Hung out with Anne, Tom and Diane yesterday evening.
Tonight there's a DMS show in Keebler Hall that I'll prolly go to. Tomarrow I have the Department of State Foreign Service Exam. Collin Powell allegedly is eagerly anticipating my taking of the test. At least thats what the email reminder about the test said...
Then its picnic day here all afternoon. For you nondavisites, that means the whole town's population will drunkenly stumble about ALL day, attend weinerdog races and suchlike, raging block parties will ensue.... A bunch of the local hardcore bands are gonna play at Cafe Roma I think.. they WERE gonna partake in operation guarrilla performances, whereupon without any official consent they'd set up and play shows whereever they could find the electricity to do so, but Radish issued an edict that no one could get arrested and miss his party saturday night so... and on that note there's a party saturday night, at The Usual Place / The List House. So yea. Thats my weekend plans so far.
