Public Service Announcement: Re Talk Like A Pirate Day

Dear Everyone,

Today is Talk Like A Pirate Day. I like the idea of Talk Like a Pirate Day.

HOWEVER. Just adding "ARR!!!" to every sentence gets old pretty much immediately. And please note that today is NOT "terrible make-you-want-to-kill-yourself groaner joke day." We all know what the pirates favourite letter is, etc etc, so please keep that bilge to yourselves, you scurvy curs.

If you're going to attempt to "talk like a pirate" I say either change it up with as many creative and wide-ranging nautical references you can think of or keep your anchor-locker shut.

Otherwise, I may have to keelhaul you. ;)

Talk Like A Pirate Day 2004 - A fine example of how to properly talk like a pirate in my opinion, and also if you haven't filled out the poll (What would your pirate name be / name your pirate ship) you should sail back and do so!!

Ah, you're just posting pictures of an awesome rainy day since it's been so dang long since we had one around here.

It's pretty bad when you have to go on vacation to places 100s if not 1000s of miles away simply to enjoy some rain.
