Chipotle

   Previous to last week, I had eaten at Chipotle all of about twice, and both times I didn't like it. For some strange reason last week I had this weird urge to give it another try. And I liked it.
   Now before you tell me what everyone tells me when I bring up Chipotle, no Chipotle is NOT owned by McDonalds anymore. Since 2006 McDonalds has not had any ownership of Chipotle.
   It also helps that Chipotle is right next to Bevmo, so instead of paying $1.79 for their crappy coca-cola-from-concentrate I go next door and pay less for a high quality craft soda (I've been trying a different cream soda every time).

I've simply never heard any two people call it by the same name, that's all. . . I figured since ya'll live out in the Newest Mexico Ev@r, and I live in the dirty, dirty south I might even consider you'ns an authority. . .

I have always liked Chipotle, McDonalds or no McDonalds. In fact, it will probably be the first restraunt I hit up when I return to the US. That or In and Out Burger

I live in Dallas! And I've only heard one person - aside from people on TV - pronounce Chipotle by putting the l in front of the t. :(

Like I said in another comment, I say "chi-pottle" just to be contrary.
