Day 2: spent most of the day in Vegas, then went off and made it to the Grand Canyon by around midnight. The grand canyon is still impressive in the middle of the night -- looks like the end of the world!!

Vegas rAWks. Because of miscommunication with reservations, last I was there, a friend and I won the hotel-room lottery and got upgraded to the sort of swanky suite that they keep on reserve for the poor kidney pawning bastards, otherwise known as professional gamblers...
