I imagine the best way to survive a zombie apocalypse is to either get as far away from other humans (and zombies) as possible with as few people as possible, or to play "Survivor" with your group of, well, survivors, and try to use them as human shields/bait without the rest of the survivors becoming aware that you're doing so.
