My Day Off - or - I'm A Coffee Shop Junky

   Today I went off up Lake Forest Blvd up to this area I swear I had no idea existed only ten miles from here. It was craziness.. like the road led to a place that magically doesn't physically exist on the map where it should have been.
   Shyea.. see Anna Umfleet (beatlebake) had to get her car serviced up in that crazy place there called Foothill Ranch so I was accompanying her. She got caught in traffic though so first I wasted some time at Diedrichs at Muirlands and Lake Forest... then I fell asleep under a palm tree at the car lot.
   While we waited for her car to get looked at we went hiking on this trail in the random wilderness out there... we saw two deers. It was pretty cool.


   Then this evening I hung out with Mara and Sally at Diedrichs off Muirlands and Lake Forest (AKA "the OTHER diedrichs," yes I was there twice today).


   Speaking of coffee shops, so this local coffee shop called Natale's which was like the ONLY place around here open till 2am closed down. In retrospect I'm not reeallly suprised because the employees there always acted genuinely bothered that people would make orders.. it musta been family owned or something.. there were a couple of persian girls in their twenties that worked there (and maybe an equivalent male version) who were always all pissy and busy talking to their friends and would act all passive aggressive and bothered if they had to actually make a drink.... Its too bad it went out though because it was a for excellent location and wonderful to have someplace open till 2am. Well I just found out it is being replace by... a starbucks! This place seriously had "friends don't let friends go to starbucks" stickers for sale in it before... oh the irony.

Just look out... its only a matter of time before it gets replaced by a starbucks!!
