On my laptop the above picture looks properly colour saturated, but when I look at it on the big flatscreen monitor my housemate left here it looks overly saturated like some sort of trashy strumpet.

Conversely, this picture I made look properly saturated on the flatscreen looks very undersaturated (colors not bright at all) on my laptop screen:

So which one looks right on most of your monitors???

Top looks better on ipad, but slightly oversaturated. Bottom looks bland, low contrast, etc.

Thanks! The fact that things can look wildly different on different monitors is such a headache d:

I like the top one, but I can tell the colors have been punched up a bit. The second one looks more like what the eye would see.

The first one looks slightly oversaturated to me, the second slightly under...

Top one looks over-saturated and over contrasted on my laptop. In particular, if I look at the trailer, I notice it.

The bottom one could use a little more saturation. But the highlights and shadows on the trailer are significantly better.

Top is over, bottom is under. The top one isn't too oversaturated, though, at least not to my eye. It does look like there's been some work done on it to bring out the details. The bottom looks like an ordinary photograph.

The first one looks right on my monitor. Very cool pic btw. :)

well, the top one is slightly over.

the bottom one is under - when I look at it I see our hottest summer days and the gaspingly hot air that comes with them.

Halfway between would be ideal on a monitor, I think. You're definitely oversat on the first and only the lower right corner of the second is attractively contrasty.

a bit more in the normal range. I do like that bee that tried to get in the lens...

I'd prefer the bottom one - the top one looks a bit oversaturated, and too contrasty.
But ideally smth in between, 40% top + 60% bottom.

Could you sharpen it a little? I feel like you lost definition in the grasses.

I like the color saturation in the first one, but I like the blurry bee in the second, although on my flat screen monitor, the second pic does look a bit faded/washed out.

The saturation on that one is pretty much spot on for my monitor. :)

I'm using an iPad 2; the second one seems more photorealistic (and I like the bee up close and personal); the first one seems oversaturated (or, if you prefer, "stylized".)

Contrast - ok, but still a bit oversaturated.

Oddly enough, the added color saturation on that second pic makes it look soft - not quite blurry, but not in focus.

But I still like that bee. ^__^
