I would be SO disappointed to get flimsy ham-like 'canadian bacon' on a burger instead of real freaking crunchy bacon. there are some restaurants here in the US that serve mayo or a seasoned mayo dip with fries. off the top of my head I know 'champs' is one. i'd rather have ketchup. or just an appropriate amount of salt sticking to the fries. I've never done the fries in gravy (poutine?) thing.
love the road at the xmas tree lot. being from Minnesota, winter equals snow. there being no snow in an Australian winter means no xmas tree will help. might as well just wait til December. it does tickle me that at least in Australia you can buy xmas tank tops. I overheat from my medication and if you want to find an xmas sweatshirt or long sleeved shirt you're deluged with options. xmas tank top? doesn't exist in Minnesota. I had a real xmas tree once. never again. the mess was unbelievably mind boggling. we were still finding needles from the tree the NEXT xmas despite having vacuumed repeatedly over the year since then.
clouds end looks gorgeous! and I totally would have done the step on the tack thing too. sympathies for your foot.
