   Two of the five every-day staff members at work are currently out on isolation. In the first few days of the year we already had more cases in this state than in the entire first year of the pandemic.



   In other news this week the Australia-wide beekeeping journal wants a 3000 word article from me and the local community paper wants a probably ~2000 article about a local artist who is moving away. It feels like college when all the term papers were due all at once! For the interview, I have over an hour and a half recorded in the voice recorder on my phone, does anyone know of a good free auto-transcribing site or app because finding the quotes I want to use will be a lot easier from a transcription :-/

   In other other news, there will soon be a new (mini?) season of the legendary "LJ Idol" here on livejournal again. I think most of my friends list has participated in it before but just in case you don't, it's a great way to make lots of livejournal friends and really exercise your blogging muscles! (:
