Library Fascists

aggienaut So Kristy has hellof studying to do for tomorrow, so she's spending the evening studying in the library on campus. I decided to venture to campus to bring her a sweatshirt and tea.
As I entered the library this lady at the front desk yells "hey excuse me you can't bring beverages into the library...!" so I smile at Kristy who I spot at a table and turn around and go outside. Unbeknownst to me, the lady was still talking.
Apparently the entirety of what she said is "Hey excuse me you can't bring beverages into the library, if you do not comply immediately I will call security and an armed security guard will escort you out" and immediately went to the phone to dial security (despite the fact that if I hadn't left the building already I was surely well on my way out by the time she was done with her sentence), and the security guard did indeed show up moments later (this all reported by Kristy).
So remember kids, the library will not hesitate to respond to illicit beverage smuggling with immediate, merciless and overwhelming force. Its only a matter of time before strip searches are instituted in the entry-way to hunt down these malevolent beverage smuggling insurgents among us.
