As you may or may not recall, the other day I was forced to go the beach. It turns out there WERE in fact pictures taken at the beach. Not by me and not of awesome things like power stations 200 ft nuclear d-cups or the giant honey-stick, but pictures that can be used to illustrate my loathing of the beach:

(1) 1:00pm - Me, me dad, & my nefarious brother

(2) 2:00pm - Mother and I
(3) 3:00pm - I've been reduced to weeping bitter tears. Bitter tears of sadness.1
Today, in addition to keeping up with my quota of 2.67 lj entries I've begun a more serious stage of looking for employment. I've got an app for The Coffee Bean as previously noted, and also for a company that provides lifeguards to a lot of local pools. There are apparently a lot of former and disillusioned Wild Rivers employees with the former. Also I think I'll apply at Diedrichs and Ritz Camera. Also, mother says they need to hire someone to do inventory at The Yarn Lady; so far I'm the only member of this family not to have recieved a pay check from there. Counting yarn: totally punk rock.

NOW I know what your papa looks like!
I know that head-down position very well (you in the third picture), that's your Iloathethesun/IneedcaffeineASAP/IneedsomefoodASAP/Bluh-ergh position. Hee.
That would be so awesome if Pavel lived with you, I love me some Russians.

where does "estivate" come from? est-ivate should mean "to bring into being" as I read it.
hmm
how about "estival" - "having to do with the summer"; from latin "aestas" meaning "summer"
I wonder if festival comes from estival?
no, sadly it doesn't seem to.. festival is from latin festus.
anyway, are there any other est* words that have to do with the summer?
