• While in my car for a total of 15 minutes today I heard the new Green Day - Idiot Nation three times. That is twice CONSECUTIVELY on the way to work and once on the way back. Don't get me wrong its an excellent song, I even stayed in my car after arriving at work to hear the rest of the second consecutive playing of it, but at this rate they are very very well on their way to overplaying it.
  
• I learned at work today that the boss, Gabi, had sent the pictures I took on to two major yarn suppliers, Trendsetter and Prism, both of whom responded very approvingly. I don't know if this was just a "look what we did with your yarn" thing or if it might get on their website (neither of which I've been able to find).
  
• The latest Homestarrunner.com creation, Peasant's Quest (preview, game) is totally awesome. Who else here used to play Space Quest and King's Quest? That was back in the day. I wouldn't mind getting the complete series of Kings Quest and Space Quest actually; I only ever played SQ3 & 4, and KQ5. Oh yea and Gold Rush (if you have no idea what I'm talkin about, you're really missin out let me tell you). I think most specifically Peasant's Quest looks like it has a lot of allusions to the Black Cauldron game. Man.. those things taught me how to write; which might explain some things

that guy that you don't know is a very good friend of mine by the name of Dave, we like to call him "no shoes dave" because when he would hang out at dietrich's he never had shoes on, but i hear he has grown into wearing them now...i just saw him a few days weekends ago...how funny!!!

I've seen him there once or twice before but I'm there a lot and rarely see him so I'd say he's "around" but doesn't "hang out there."

ok...that is where i met him too, and other people that i do still keep in touch with...good old mission high school, ditch classes and read, write, play guitars, play some chess, and smoke is where we most likely would do =)

Ohmygoodness. Such weaksauce. You know you are my freshly baked foccacia and poppyseed bagel (with sundried tomato spread). You also know I jock me some Kris kisses, especially kisses on my eyelids. Mmmmmkriskissingmyeyelids. I miss you ! :(

I have the entire King's Quest collection back at home and have beaten all of them at some point or another. My favorite is KQ3 where you're the kid imprisoned by an evil wizard and you escape by jacking his spellbook and using it to make a cookie that turns into a cat.

Awful hard games to play by today's standards, especially ones like Space Quest where, for example, if you get kissed by an alien way at the beginning of the game an alien baby will burst out of your chest and kill you at some unexpected time much later in the game. What a harsh, unforgiving place is the Sierra "______ Quest" multiverse.
