These last two weeks, a year ago:
04-09-11: Beverage Bombing - Recently declassified. High school scenester/bros infect the Taco Bell which neighbours Diedrichs, like an unwanted nest of common paper wasps (polistes dominus, not the cooler polistes aurelis - golden umbrella wasps). To dislodge these unsavory elements two marines drive by and chuck a soda at the scenester/bros. Like angry wasps they swarm into their raised truck and give pursuit by driving right over several curbs. I find it alarming that scenester/bros can even exist. What is the world coming to. Scenesters and bros used to by polar opposites.
04-09-13: Rockets & Hot Tubs - My little brother Eric and his friend Monte fire rockets in all kinds of crazy ways. Someone of course calls the cops, and the officer who arrives says "not only is this not illegal, its actually pretty awesome!" Also we had an awesome video of a rocket going awol and almost killing Eric, but I've lost it in my computer crashes. If anyone else had happened to download it and still has it I'd love to have that video back. And now of course, fedahyeen are firing rockets at Eric daily, with more malicious motives. Also the Diedrichs kids go on a hot tubbing adventure. Reminds me that we definitely had some good times last year as well... unlike THIS year! )=<
04-09-14: Most Awesome Song Ever Written - trembyle of the band Momsex writes and performs the most awesome song ever written, titled "The Bloggist." In some fit of insanity he has since baleted it, which breaks my little heart.
04-09-16: Misinformation - All you wanted to know about the Brazilian nuclear programme. Also my summer school teacher is an utter idiot. Also bikinis were allegedly invented in afghanistan. Also, an awesome picture of the day.
04-09-18: Yarn Ladies - I describe several of the key figures at the Yarn Barn. Also there is an explosion of drama there.
04-09-19: International Talk Like a Pirate Day - A classic entry indeed. Too bad I wasn't blogging around ITLP Day this year. Too bad the "pirates" of Treasure Island in Vegas were anything but pirate-like -- and replaced words like "arr" with "yo dude." Anyone who hasn't already should take the pirate poll in the entry. And I still say anyone who watches Degrassi should walk the plank.
04-09-21: Hanging Out with Aaron Davis - And going to a beach bonfire with him and Tristan, whom has fallen madly in love with Cheri at this point. Also I run into Nadine Mirizayan and hang out a bunch with Shalane and take a lot of pictures.
04-09-22: Phoneposting All The Way to Davis - which ended up being more dramatic than expected, what with the car breaking down and all. Also someone still needs to transcribinate these things.
04-09-24: San Fransisco Zoo - Kritsy Kritsy and I go to the San Fransisco Zoo for her birthday. Unfortunately in these barbaric times we didn't have a digital camera )=
04-09-27: Zombies vs Pirates - I see Shawn of the Dead with Gabi, an excellent movie. Then I commit gratuitous acts of piracy. Also I meet Kristy's family for the first time, think her sister Tracy hates me.
