Mar. 15th, 2003 08:28 pm Went to Chris Mays' party Friday night. Kat Isaacson turned up unexpectedly and I thereupon spent the whole time with her and and her friends. Last time Mays threw a party Stan unexpectedly showed up, so I think Mays now gets an award for consistency in having random unexpected appearances of cool people at his little shindigs.
Friday was also of course the end of all winter quarter classes. Now we have a week of finals, a week of spring break, and its back to school.
Oh I also randomly decided to explore the basement of Sproul, having once while exploring the basement of Olson found a floor plan which showed an underground tunnel between sproul and olson, and having determined that this tunnel certainly couldn be reached from the Olson side (and having heard from someone that the doors are one-way so that teachers can go from their sproul offices to olson classrooms without going outside, but students couldn similarly enter sproul). While I found an area that was somewhat interesting and probably meant to be restricted (thoguh I don't recall passing any signs), I couldn't find any sign of said passageway. Very odd. It was clearly on the floorplan. Further investigation shall ensue.
