Show at Jesska Ornstein's Place

Yesterday there was a show at Jesska Ornstein's house across the river in the richer side of town. I need to get the scanner figured out and then I'll be able to illustrate these things with saucy maps and illustrations as well as pictures.
   Anyway so I went there from work. As soon as I got there I saw Croat and MtHH hanging out in front. While talking to them some members of Robin Kivlin's band (Jack Bighead) scuttled past. Inside a band was playing, the bassist had a dropkick murphys shirt, and the vocalist was wearing a UC Davis shirt (the dark blue with block letters one my friends ask me if I made myself). Shortly I encountered Robin Kivlin himself, Jessika Powell (eatrice), Lauren Boswell, Knobs (ambiguouscase), and Jesska's awesome brother Mikey. There are probably others who I'm forgetting and who will now levy unending hatred upon me. Also I met Croat's new lover, Ryan.

   Year Ago Today: Blizzard Bowls - Having returned to Wild Rivers, I get subjugated to two and a half hours in the hellish freezing conditions at the bottem of "Bazooka Bowls."

Poll Time

   Discovered where I posted some other statistics six months ago, so here are some more numbers:
   After having this livejournal a week I had 12 friends. After a year I had 110. After a year and a half I have 146. That means in the last six months I've added one every 5.0 days as opposed to the every 3.7 of the first year. This is in keeping with my theory that livejournals accrue friends at a much faster rate when they're new.
   Also in the first year I posted 72% as many comments as I received. In the last six months however I've posted 99.896% as many comments as I've received (962/963). The comments reception rate increased 4% since the first year, and my propensity to POST comments increased 45%. That is one comment posted and received every four hours and 28 minutes, as opposed to times during the first year of 6 hours, 43 minutes (posted) and 4 hours 50 minutes (received). This of course means we're becoming more comment-active, which we hail as a Good Thing.


   Thats all good and well but now its time to make sure you're all actually paying attention. (=

   Diana has worked at Diedrichs for as long as I can remember, yet I've never really met her. She had a show today at the Attic, next door to Chain Reaction. Took this the other day.
