Votes of No Confidence in UCSA
Oct. 16th, 2006 12:36 am The UCSA Board of Directors voted No Confidence in their chairman our own Brent Laabs. Laabs subsequently resigned. This is not expected to improve relations between UC Davis & the UC Student Association.
At the same meeting UCSA voted to oppose Proposition 209, which is all good and well but well, its ten years too late. The UC Davis Grad Student Assn (GSA) voted against the No Confidence vote and against the Affirmative Action support bill -- UC Davis Undergrad representatives were avoiding the meeting entirely.
Really I'm just writing this to scoop the Aggie. (=
In other news, I think I'm getting sick. )= Also I played poker again today. Allan Rae went all in, but him and this other guy had been doing that a bunch just to scare people I think, and I had a pair of aces which I thought was pretty decent so I called him on it -- but he had some magical combination of cards that I didn't really understand but apparently it was better. d=
Also, thinking about writing a Letter to the Editor to the Daily Cal (the UC Berkeley paper) regarding the current attempt of their student gov't majority party to use $22,600 for their personal benefit. On the plus side, a letter from the ASUCD Chief Justice would probably be pretty novel to them, on the negative side though, even though its not my jurisdiction, its an equivalent jurisdiction, and I'm not sure how appropriate it would be for me to weigh in on it like that.

I guess the central parts of the cactus are so old all the prickles have worn away making it essentially kinda like a giant cat-tower. Pelekea Cachaça could often be found perched up there looking at birds.
