Epic Roadtrip: Day 1

We're in exotic Twentynine Palms, California! Nothing terribly exciting to report. I think tomorrow we're just going to drive through the night, so we'll be somewhere in New Mexico along this route. Tomorrow we rendezvous with Nicole Farazian & company in Las Vegas, then we're hitting up the Grand Canyon.

Somehow I've already had to replace the batteries on my camera ... and I haven't taken any more pictures since Ii last posted them. I'm hoping I just left it on or something and it doesn't go through two batteries a day.

Here we're staying with a friend of Sherri's who joined the Navy.. and got sent to this godforsaken place far far from the ocean! d=
