I'd Rather Be Sailing..

I've put in my application to work for a few weeks on either the tall ship Lady Washington or Hawaiian Chieftain (they will be sailing up the Colombia and down the California coast, respectively) after I get back in November from travelling the world. (:

In other news, yesterday I officially sent in my application (and called to make sure they got it / show my interest) to volunteer to crew for an organization that runs two tallships (Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain). Apparently they're all about training people from scratch (their money comes in from constantly giving paying passengers rides, mock cannon battles, other typical shenanigans) so I'm hoping to do that for a few weeks when I get back from traveling the world in two months. The Hawaiian Chieftain will be sailing down the California coast and Lady Washington will be sailing up the Colombia.
