Dear All,

This is not a real entry. I just wanted to announce that 30 in 30 III is officially ON, and you therefore should start out on the right foot by posting something asap!

Right now I'm in desperate need of a nap. But after I take a nap, I am going to fire ze missiles make a real entry.

ADDENDUM: (11:53pm) if you can't make it in time for this first day, despair not! Conventionally, one is allowed to start late as long as they catch up by the end of the month. Well, you're "allowed" to do whatever you want and we appreciate any efforts to follow along, but what I'm saying is you can start late and not feel any blogging inadequacies.

Kris, did you check your e-mail lately? Because, if you did, you would know about a certain tasty item which is available for you at this moment somewhere in Davis. However, I will wait and see if you post something. If you do, I will not reveal the location of this tasty item.

Now I guess I'll have to come up with some other incentive which Kris can't have if I determine he's spent an inordinate amount of time on 30 in 30.--Which I see he has.

However, the addition of 30 in 30 "in 30" is a great improvement. How about 30 SECONDS!

Yeah I meant to give a lot more notice (recall my enthusiastic campaigning a full month and a half ago) but things have really hit the fan lately -- just a few days ago I was wondering if I myself would be able to do it at all, and in the last two or three weeks my posts have been down to like one a week... so thats my excuse for lack of publicity...

but you should definitely join in, asap!
