Comings & Goings

   Today Kristy, Tobin, and a cousin (third cousin) from Germany arrived at the Orange County Airport (John Wayne Airport). Today, incidently, nutty fundamentalists in England decided to try to blow up several airplanes and so airport security went apeshit worldwide. Good times. At John Wayne the check-in lines filled the terminal and spilled out into the parking garage.
   Additionally, since my cousin Holly is marrying a British guy on Monday, I'd imagine he's got some relatives coming in from Heathrow --the current terror epicenter itself-- today and/or the upcoming days.


   So Kristy and I have had two rats, Leia & Delilah, for about two years now. Since she got the kitten Bailey I've mostly had custody of them and I've had them down here this summer.
   Delilah has been very sick for the last week or two, with a tumor on her lower abdomen and looking extremely frail. She hung on to life just long enough to see Kristy again this afternoon, and then she died. )=

Aww, I totally took that picture. Poor puppykins.

And yes I realize a rat is not technically a PUPPY whateva whateva I do what I want ... poor puppykins :'(

I'll miss tossing her little rotund frame and watching her hide her pellets from Leia. She was always the smarter one, I'm glad I got to give her jockings before she died.
