Yeah I was thinking "they probably can't do this in California" I think we like have rules that somewhere that sells alcohol for consumption there can't sell alcohol to go, and vice versa.
I lived in Flag for various periods throughout 2002-2004. It's a great town.
I'm not sure if it's an official rule, but it is apparently very difficult to get an on-site consumption and retail license at the same location. I assume the theory is that drunk people walking out of your store with more alcohol on them are likely to start drinking it on the street or something...
I've always wondered, why don't any liquour stores DELIVER?! There's gotta be a law against it because otherwise it seems like such a great idea. Prevent drunk people driving to get more alcohol, etc.
Primos = the hot dog place right? I ate there last time it was pretty good. Yesterday after Pay N Take we went to Beaverstreet and shared the sausage platter and pizza-chips. Pizza-chips are genius!
