   So the other evening I decided to head down to the former Diedrichs, for pretty much the first time in the year or so since it became a Starbucks.
   It looked like it had almost as many people hanging out there as its always had, and as I walked up a girl I recognized from before said hi. I tried the door but it being 9:04pm the place was closed (god forbid there ever be anywhere to go or anything to do here after 9pm). So I turned to leave. As I was leaving one of a group of girls called out to me "hey! you look familiar!" "Um.. I used to hang out here a lot back when it was a Diedrichs?" Shortly the girl was able to place me: "(to her friends) you know that picture of me? that nice black and white one? he's the guy that took it!" They invited me to pull up a chair and hang out with them so I chillaxed there for a bit. And of course, I had to take a picture of them.

   These pictures are taken from the beach near my boss Dave's place the other day. There was also a beautiful sunset there last night and I whipped out my camera only to find I'd left the memory chip here in my computer!! )=

What was Diedrichs?

Local coffee shop. Well Diedrichs was a chain here but Starbucks swooped in and bought 55 of 57 of them or something. Its really just like any other coffeeshop (though I think their coffee was particularly good), but what made the local one special was that it was the place everyone who was anyone hung out. So for awhile there in the golden days of yore you could go there on any night of the week and there'd be a dozen kickass people there and once the place closed at nine or ten they'd go have adventures somewhere.

Haha a lot of people from my high school used to go to Dennys late at night. I'm not sure what went on there I never went but I doubt it led to any further adventures I think they just hung out there till late at night. Sounded.. lame.
