Trial, Day 2

   Yesterday some of our guys and I believe some of their guys testified.
   I'm told the defense is saying their medical expert can't come and want to make an arrangement so that ours won't come either, to, you know, "even it out." That's a total load of horse-shit though since Dave has extensive medical damages and their medical expert can't deny it and can't say any of their guys even needed a bandaid.
   Additionally apparently their lawyer "found" $15 in the bathroom and tried to give it to a juror .. ostensibly thinking it was his. WTF?! The appropriate thing to do would clearly be to hand it to the bailiff or judge. !!

   In completely unrelated news I signed up for a digital photography class at the local JC, first class was yesterday. So I'm gonna learn me to take some pixtures! :D

HOLY SHIT. Does the judge know about that? (And how cheap can you be - $15 to buy a juror? Is he serious?)

David has had fucking facial reconstructive surgery for fuck's sake. Ugh. This trial is going to shoot my blood pressure through the roof. I know the other side is just doing their job, but I hate this shit.

I think it goes beyond "just doing their job" here - their lawyer, Samuelson, sounds like he's going above and beyond in terms of being obnoxious and sheisty.

I'm kind of inclined to think the giving money to a juror was just him being boneheaded, because its seriously ridiculous to think he'd actually think he could buy a juror for fifteen bucks. But still he should know better (and yes, the judge actually saw and gave him a what the hell are you doing I think).

But the trying to agree to no medical testimony I think is definitely a straight up sheisty trick to try to "sacrifice" something that DOESN'T HELP THEM in order to get rid of damning evidence from our side.

I so wish I could be in there and see the shenanigans myself! Today Jeremy and Bob (and Dave of course) are in court, so its just Ryan out working, so I've been conscripted to actually do bee busting duties!

Hm I'd never heard anything about Nathan regarding this. The actual incident began with Jeremy changing the channel on the TV and then the bouncers started escorting him to the door before he even knew what was happening.

No idea. I would assume that if parts of it are brought up, those parts are entered, etc. IANAL :/ I am riveted by this case however!
