I can no longer in good consciousness remain silent on this subject; my bestest buddy Kristy continues to adamently insist that the ASUCD Coffee House has inferior burritos. Only thing is: she has NEVER tried one. This would only be a minor infraction if it was a casual reference in one conversation, however she continues to insist in their utter inferiority as if God himself came down and told her. She claims its because they're "not authentic." I am highly distressed by the preposterousness of her position

Addendum 15:17 - My mother just gave me a green tartan scarf, yay.

And I just took the following quiz. Don't ask me what a "daemon" is. Sounds like some weird "new age" neohippy thing but whatever:

Snake Daemon
Your SNAKE DAEMON shows that you are dangerous,
clever, and disconcert others with your
effortless power. You function best when left
to yourself, as other people's minds work too
slowly for your liking.

The manager of the CoHo used to own and manage a Mexican restaurant. It has gotten a lot better since he started there (~1 year ago?). Maybe the last time your friend has been there was before that, when in fact, the burritos were kinda nasty, but huge.

inferior to what? They're garbage, but i guess theoretically they could be better than something.

haha...a Daemon is an animalistic physical manifestation of the soul....according to the somethingorother (dark treasures, dark artifacts??) series by Philip Pullman XD

Well, if they DO prove to be inferior somehow.... I have proof of something that far surprasses their inferiority.... MY PATHETIC QUESODILLA OF AMERICAN CHEESEY MICROWAVED DOOM. No. It did not taste good.

they AREN'T authentic. all of the ingredients seem to originate from costco. (i.e. none of them are freshly prepared). the guacamole is salty and watery- saltwatery and doesn't taste like avocados at all. its exactly the stuff they serve in DC's, and when has DC food ever been authentic?

saying that CoHO burritos are better than the ones at guadalahara is like saying that cafeteria pizza is better than blondie's pizza. PATENTLY UNTRUE.

Guacamole??

? Do YOU have any particular knowledge of the subject either? I'm about to go find a COHO hook to write me an authorative essay on the subject. But I've been back there in the COHO many a time, and they make everything they can from scratch.

rereading your post I see it very specifically only addresses the guacamole. Well I'm sorry you don't like their quacamole, I've never had it, I don't like guacamole, and its hellof overpriced at the COHO.

everything. pay attention.

i watched annie eat one. once. but besides the guacamole, didn't i mention that the quality was simliar to the DC's "make your own burrito" buffet? what can i say? kristy is right on this one. CoHo burritos are second-rate. at best.

And mexican restaurants buy the most expensive ingrediants they can find no? OH WAIT no they don't! I'm pretty sure the COHO ingrediants are NOT any worse than mexican restaurant ingrediants. As to these DC make your own burritos, they don't have them at either cuarto DC and I haven't seen them at the segundo DC; so I know not of what you speak, but I doubt you're in an authoratative position to comment on the variety and/or brand of their ingrediants.

In conclusion: you burrito naysayers know that you are in the wrong but are clutching at straws here... If you admit utter defeat I promise I'll be nice. Resistance is futile.

admit defeat? NEVER!!
okay the DC's in BERKELEY have make your own burrito nights, and the ingredients of CoHo burritos are identical. i'm not saying any of the ingredients that mexican restaurants buy are expensive at all. just fresh rather than packaged.

I know as an absolute fact that the COHO takes whole fruits and/or vegetables and actual humans dice them with knives and then mix it all together to make the various food materiels.
