   I'm in Davis for the weekend, so unfortunately I'll be having only the slightest of internet access till Sunday evening. However, I did tour the Jelly Belly factory yesterday, and am going to the biggest corn maze in the world (42 acres, it was in the Guinness Book of World Records last year when it was *only* 40) this evening.

   LJ Idol polls for the first topic are up. My bracket is here -- remember a vote for me is a vote for surviving the zombie apocalypse!!! ;D

   Unfortunately I don't have my notes with me and anyway had only read about a quarter of the competition entries on this topic before I left (I'm gonna be busy Sunday night!), otherwise I'd recommend to you other people to vote for. Off the top of my head though I can say supremegoddess1, who provided me with the psychologist quotes for my zombie entry, and boxsofrain (they're both in my bracket). I'm sure there's others I'd really want to promote but all I've got to go on right now is what I think of off the top of my head.
   BUT if you're reading this and you're doing LJ Idol feel free to leave a comment promoting your entry AND I'd be interested if you'd advise me of any other people's entries you think I'd like. I'm particularly interested in any that twist the prompt in an unexpected direction.

Oh yeah I really liked yours, one of the few with a twist in it! When I get a moment I'll list yours. In the mean time I've got to run off to the corn maze now.


In other news though I realized the only vote that matters in any way really is who's in last! So its important to look at who's in last in each bracket and if people are like tied at 15 one has the power to determine which one's gonna get gunned!

I agree with that...I generally make sure I check out the people at the bottom of each poll...it sucks for good entries to not get votes just because they aren't getting traffic.
