my lj notifications go to my gmail, which doesn't get used for a lot of other stuff, so I can have an entire screen just filled with lj notifications because I don't bother deleting any XD

Haha what happens with comment notifications is actually quite complex. If I plan on responding "someday" I move it to my my "AB Holding Cell Medium Priority" where I'll get to it .. someday. If I really think I'm gonna get around to it within a day or so (usually hey I'll respond to this after work) I just leave it in my inbox. And if I want to make sure I go back and deal with it, I mark it as unread, so, in theory, next time I go to my inbox it'll catch my attention and I'll go look at it. In practice I usually remember I already read it and still get to it when I get to it. (=

Woah. And I thought my inbox of unread 1,000+ messages was bad! At least you've got yourself organized with all your folders. :)

Yeah note that that 4422 number is only UNREAD emails. Inbox total 6236! I think my new years resolution a few times has been to try to reduce this number, always to no avail.

And yeah its kind of annoying that Yahoo insists on listing the folders in alphabetical order. So as you can see I've gotten around that by just putting letters in front of folders.
