I'm at work right now but later I'll write about the lawsuit we just lost ): and my pet bee, Melissa.
Also I just got a call from my favourite law firm - they want me back (as a temp). It's been a year and a half since I worked for them, I feel honoured they even remember me. (:

Date: 2009-04-04 07:08 pm (UTC)And I like a change of scenery from time to time. Which is exactly why I won't commit to working in an office. But when I haven't been in one for awhile a law office itself qualifies as a change of scenery.

Date: 2009-04-04 02:44 pm (UTC)...something kind of odd happened to me kind of similar a few years ago. I worked at this... environmental engineering place and I got well... fired. Well a few years later (in 2005 maybe?) my ex told me over instant message that my old boss called him and asked if I'd like my job back...
By that point I'd moved to Australia but it's kind of interesting how she remembered my ex's name and tracked him down to get a hold of me lol... I felt kind of flattered... sadly I would have loved that job back... too late now I suppose lol...

Date: 2009-04-05 01:39 am (UTC)I think it's because they thought I was still a bit too "immature" at 19... and when I got older they decided hey she's probably figured it out now... yeah no, I just hated the job after a while but I'd take it back in a heart beat lol
