More Thanksgiving Pictures

   Didn't go out today, didn't have a car most of the day and then didn't feel like doing anything this evening. Just now I discovered a new picture hosting site that appears to be the best I've seen so far. I can display my pictures in it for all to see, AND I can use it to host pictures for display here, AND whereas freepichosting only allowed about 5,000 hits per month (which I was actually on a course to conflict with), photobucket allows appx 70,000 hits per month.
   Also I transferred more thanksgiving pictures from one of five semiderelict computers in the other room, and posted them at photobucket. They shall be in a lj-cut at the end of this entry.


   In other news I was installing quicktime on my computer today, and Apple being an evil malevolent corporation, I took the time to at least skim the terms of use. I found the following highlight, written in all caps unlike the rest of the terms:
   THE APPLE SOFTWARE IS NOT INTENDED FOR USE IN THE OPERATION OF NUCLEAR FACILITIES, AIRCRAFT NAVIGATION OR COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS, AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEMS, LIFE SUPPORT MACHINES OR OTHER EQUIPMENT IN WHICH THE FAILURE OF THE APPLE SOFTWARE COULD LEAD TO DEATH, PERSONAL INJURY, OR SEVERE PHYSICAL OR ENVIRONMENTAL DAMAGE.
   So uh.. don't watch quicktime movies if you're in a nuclear submarine kids.

   So yesterday upon arriving I had to stop by the yarn store my mother works at when she's not substitute teaching, The Yarn Lady, to do a car exchange with mother. In there I encountered the large and conservative husband of the owner, someone I was sure would disapprove of my deviant hair. Apparently however after I left he said that he kinda liked it. Incidentally I think my hair looked terrible at the time, due to an utterly failed experiment at using mere hair gel to spike it.

   In other news I asked my mom if the marine corps had made little brother Eric into a Republican yet, to which she responded: "Unfortunately, he's the only one around here thats put on a uniform and said 'okay you can shoot me now' and he doesn't care whats going on." (Implying its unfortunate that he doesn't follow politics, NOT that he's the only one to put on a uniform)

   I was trying to look "serious," but ended up looking like I'd maybe just gotten out of the worst of bootcamp or something.


   For extra points, find in the picture (A) the guinness label, (B) the diedrichs cup, (C) the steel reserve cans. Also you better (D) be able to name that flag.


   In case you were wondering what the background of my computer in the other pic was, this is my computer background, and has been for years. It is a picture I took senior year.

   This is actually the day after thanksgiving, hence spaghetti rather than turkey and fewer people. Note that CCCF as always, is being alarmingly clingy.

Uniform pics- Is that what you look like when your drunk, or do you just have sex in the eyes???

Guinness label is on the drawer, steel cans are on the wall, and diedrichs cup has checkers drawn on is and is sitting on your desk.

Totally sober. Its just that my left eye has a tendency to remain half closed in pictures for some reason and makes me look drunk in every picture
